Ranks & Promotions

Rank Structure

Turcopole

New members begin at this rank. Turcopole are expected to learn and contribute actively to their chosen guild.
Historically, the Turcopole were mercenaries hired by the Templars to fight in the crusades.

Militia

After one week of active contribution, a Guild Leader may recommend a Turcopole for promotion to Militia. Militia members are considered full-fledged members of the clan and the army of Christ.

Knight

Knights are recognized for their leadership, merit, and contributions to the clan. Knights are granted additional responsibilities, such as scheduling events and mentoring newer members. Once knighted, they are commissioned a plate body armor set and a weapon of their choice by the Smithing Guild.

Recommendations

There is a recommendations channel in Discord where members can privately submit promotion recommendations, feedback, or complaints via a bot that sends tickets to leadership. This ensures that the promotion process is transparent and that all members have a voice.

Inventory Management & Transfer

The Templar Bank

Players can post direct deposit requests for other players in the Templar Bank channel in Discord. The Quartermaster is responsible for regularly checking this channel and notifying players when their requests have been fulfilled. This system ensures that resources are distributed efficiently.
Each player will be required to place two chests in the clan bank: one for outgoing deposits and another chest for inbound shipments to receive deposits. This way, members can transfer materials to other players even when they are not online.

Private Chests

Each guild member will have a private chest on the guild leader’s plot. This allows the guild leader to distribute resources as needed while maintaining control over the guild’s inventory. Members can securely store materials they have gathered or been allocated by the guild.

Fulfilled Orders

Once an order is fulfilled, it will be handed over to the Quartermaster for inter-clan distribution via the clan bank. The process will be managed through the Templar Bank channel to ensure accountability and proper tracking of resources.

Clan Warehouse & Overstock

Centralized Storage for Non-Guild Specific Items

The Clan Warehouse serves as a centralized storage area for all items and resources that do not fall under a specific guild's inventory and overstock. This includes building supplies, reeds, resins, and other miscellaneous materials that are essential to the clan’s overall operations and development.

Overstock Management

Any excess or surplus items that exceed the immediate needs of the guilds or individual members should be stored in the Clan Warehouse. This ensures that valuable resources are not wasted and can be accessed when needed for large projects or sudden demands.

Conflict Resolution

Guild leaders will first attempt to resolve conflicts internally. If the issue cannot be resolved within the guild, it will be escalated to the leadership team for a final decision. This process ensures that conflicts are handled fairly and promptly, maintaining harmony within the clan.

Inactive Members

Members who are inactive for more than one month will be demoted to the Militia rank. This policy ensures that the clan remains active and that members who return can reintegrate into the community. Inactive members who return and actively contribute can regain their previous rank.

Alliances

Alliance Agreements

The Knights Templar will establish formal alliances with other clans or guilds that share our values and goals. These alliances are built on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared objectives.

No Griefing or Attacking Allies

Members of the Knights Templar are strictly prohibited from killing or attacking members of allied clans. Our alliances are sacred, and any form of hostility toward our allies will be considered a serious breach of our code of conduct outlined here.

Achievements

The clan maintains a list of achievements and the dates they are reached. Achievements will include milestones such as advancing to the Iron Age, collecting every magic item in the game, obtaining specific magical items for dungeoneering, visiting every dungeon, building a wonder, and reaching membership milestones (e.g., 50, 100 Militia members). Celebrating these achievements will boost morale and provide clear goals for the clan to work towards.
